the men don't get it

i've finally watched the whole serial of Jewel in the Palace; the korean drama serial that's currently showing on channel 55 at 7 pm. its a whopping 70 episodes! but i liked it alot! the korean officer in the show was so gallant, so understanding, so heroic, sigh... imagine any guy telling his loved one - go, pursue your dreams of becoming korea's first lady doctor to the king, i'll support you, even if you have to stay in the palace for 10 years, i will be there watching out for you. and when she got exiled to jeju island (cos the heroine Chang Jin always seems to get into trouble) he resigned from his high position in court to find another position in jeju island, just so that he could protect her from villians who wanted her dead. i spent the night talking all about that officer-guy with my cousin... and my cousin-in-law was plugging his ears, pretending to be oblivioius. i think he only said one line the whole night :" that guy's a disgrace..=(" sulky**sulky**... haha... now my whole family from my grandma to my aunts and cousins are watching it, it's addictive, it's tear-jerking, it's heart-wrenching, it's really hilarious, and that officer guys is so perfect!
